Oly 9mm upper or JT M4 kit to slap on my preban lower

honestly, I'd get neither of those... Maybe a Bushmaster M4 kit though.

I would agree, Bushmaster although a bit more money, then again that is what your credit card is for

Bushmaster complete upper with M4 handguard with detachable carrying handle is 671.00 plus shipping, it will be a purchase you will not regret.

I think the answer depends on (a) what you want to use if for and (b) what you already have. Oly seems to be the most popular choice in 9mm uppers. I'd also recommend the Bushy M4. I'm still saving up for an M4 upper from them.

got a post a2 and a pre A1.Probably going to convert the A1 to post by removing the lug and ptting on a fake A1 brake.then use the lower to build the new one.

I know bushmnaster is the best but funds don't allow me to go that far.

9mm is nice and the ammo is CHEAP these days.

But since M4 is the rage i also want one.

What to do??

You could buy the bushy m4 upper without the carry handle, which is a $100, I think. It should make it below $600. You can use your optics on the flat-top while you save up money to buy the detachable carry handle later on. If I didn't want to wait, I would probably do that.

If you have not already, stock up on some ar15 recievers. That way when the Klinton bill expires you will be good to go.

i say jt m4. i just got done with my latest JT kit. if you get it and upgrade to m4 handguards, you will be in m4 city.

Consider Rock River Arms upper. Very nice. Have fake suppressor that is pressed onto 16 inch barrel giving a 14.5 inch barrel appearance and no muzzle brake which is a plus in my opinion. They also have chromelined barrels now but you must specify this. Price is less than Bushie by quite a bit as well.

Get a lower parts kit. $60 at RRA, about $65 thru Bushmaster. Just what I would do. I would leave the trigger guard alone if it is in reasonable condition and they usually are. Good luck.

Do like I did: I had $500 to spend and after looking at all the guns I had to have a SIG 220ST and scraped together another $200. Now I just have to suffer through the wait for it to arrive.
