It's a tall 60 gun safe. One 16' strip of LED lights was a perfect fit. I also installed a motion detector that will turn on the LED strips once it detects motion. The LED strips had 3m double backing tape and it was so easy to install.
Simply peel the tape cover off, and stick to the safe, then plug it in. Done. What I installed for the safe lighting setup: 1) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HSF65MC 2) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DKSI0S8 3) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009KSECO8 Any questions? |

The phones aren't preset to 911 and you don't have any crackers with ketchup and parmasion cheese on them. Nice lighting. Did your safe have an internal jack?
|
|
Quoted:Did your safe have an internal jack? View Quote No. It had a hole. I got a surge power strip and cut off the plug. Put the power strip in the safe, threaded the power cord out of the safe (you can see it, it's gray in bottom of safe) and assembled the plug, then plugged it in. Simple. No need for a fancy over priced gun safe power outlet. |

I got the rope light kit in mine when I purchased it, but that is awesome. Might do that to the wife's closet. Very nice job. I'm tagging this.

Why do you have so many bbs? Are you preparing for WW3 or something?

For those on a budget, an alternative.

OP, how easy is it to get that flat strip to turn the corners?

I just went with a white rope light and a corded "remote" because I'm cheap but I like your set up.
Used those stick on cabling pads and zip ties to attach it. |

View Quote Nice. I went with this one. Really bright and works well. I love OP's setup, though. Might upgrade in the future. OP, sorry about the boating accident. |
