I'll be picking feathers out of my teeth for weeks.  I said I'd never buy another one, but I just could'nt pass this one up.  Its a preban Car-AR, W-series ser # made in 89.  Picked it up from Stokes on Friday.  Clean, nice rifle and a great price.  Thanks Stokes.

Saw one guy selling DPMS, OLY, CavArms stuff. He had uppers he built, he was touting the fact that the uppers were made by FN. I asked him how he got the FN uppers, he told me he bought them. I told him that FN does not sell to civilians, could he show me how an FN upper was marked. He shut up real quick.

The CavArms stuff is real nice.

Hey Markm, I already have 3 Colt AR15s (2 pre and 1 post ban)and a BM, just wanted something a little different.  Oly-M4 and marvel, the other rifle Stokes has is real cherry too, It was hard picking one over the other.  In the end I just went with the older one because I used to own a stop sign lower Oly before the ban and I figured it would be easier to justify preban complete rifle status on a lower manufacured in 89 than in 93.  Otherwise the newer rifle was almost as nice.
