Day before XMas I stop into the local Army/Navy Surplus store.I buy USGI AR mags off this guy every now and then.I ask hows business?He says not too good.I say well let me see what you have for mags.He had 47 AR15 USGI 30rdrs @ 80-90% and 7 Colt 20rdrs @ 50%.He tells me what he wants for them.I acted shocked,even though it was a good price.I said "Man as many mags as I've brought from you!!"He then says you can have them all for $8 each.I couldn't get the money out of my wallet quick enough!!!

This takes me to 91 mags for 3 AR's
4 Thermolds
1 Orlite
15 Colt 20 rdrs
71 USGI 30 rdrs
1 Beta C

I think I can slow down now on AR mags now.

$250.00 and a couple of slightly used Cristmas cards. Look like 98-99%. Used only once!

I missed out bigtime in a local paper,, a guy in rhode island sold 125 USGI 20 rdrs for $400.

3 bucks apiece... Ebay would have been plastered with them.... (would have been approx $2000 at $15 each)[>(]

I really thought about selling some to raise some cash for a Acog but then I thought when am I ever going to pay $8 for great mags again?For a split second I heard a little voice saying 91 mags and 1 Beta C is enough!!!I quickly realized that was Satan talking and though I might concentrate on other accessories you can never have "Enough" mags!!!

I have a surplus store nearby that occasionally has mags, usually $10-12 bucks each in 80-90 percent condition.

bought 72 20 rd mix of colt/adventurline mags for 5$ each at flea market about 8 months ago - 30 to 100%

Why thanks Greyghost, you are a gentleman indeed. Anyone that has more than 25 mags of any kind is a Mag-O-Holic! I have at least 10 for each weapon requiring mags and find myself buying more when I find a great deal.
