Has anyone tried using an IDF Sling on their Mossberg 590A1?

I have one on my RRA M4gery that I really like.
Just wondered if anyone had a good reason why this would not work well for a shotgun.

I just ordered one yesterday for my 870. I already have a GG&G single point sling plate installed that I am going to use as the rear mount now I have to figure out where I am going to attach it to the front. I already have the original mag tube clamp that comes with the 870 express. I'll let you know how I like it when it gets here.

GG&G has Shotgun Front Sling Attachments for both the 870 and 590.

Thanks for the info but can you use that set-up with the original 870 +2 extension on the 870HD express model?

tried it on my mossyberg 500 w/ folding knoxx copstock

snaped it on on looped paracord attached on the bbl and stock side

its ok for carry, but not as a tactical sling
