The pd has been shooting their new 7.5" with the 15th and 16th models. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything works well. Shoot the heck out of it steve and let me know how it does.

May I ask if anything else has been done for reliability's sake? (buffer, extractor mod, etc)

Or is none of that really needed on a weapon using a can?

How bad on the ears is it without the can?

One last thing, what other rail systems might that can fit under?  Any idea?

bigbore, where can I get one of those flutted 7.5" Wilson barrels with a 1:8 twist?  Do you sell them?  I currently have a 7.5" SBR or should I say PDW with an EF Shaw barrel from Model1 and I doubt the threads are concentric with the bore.  I want to use my AAC Ranger can on it and want to make sure I don't get any baffle strikes from the very beginning.  With the 1:8 twist what ammo would you use to keep from getting baffle strikes?  Sounds like you have a keeper and I would like to do the same.

Can you help a fellow 7.5 incher out???

What also was a surprise that I dont understand; I dont have a gas buster, and there is absolutely NO blowback through the receiver into my face.

I think this has alot to do with the suppressor bore size.
I have an AAC Ranger that will just about knock you out with fumes from blowback... I can only do a mag or two with it, and that's while holding my breath and squinting my eyes. The overbored XXX can I have is just the opposite. It gives a little louder report, but without the gas. The XXX can I can shoot all afternoon without toxic fumes in my face.
