First, I must thank those who nominated the ARFCOM suppressor forum "the OPS inc board". Thank you. Myself and the owner of OPS INC both thank you for spreading the word with the free advertising on silencertests.com. I have already received a few queries from folks who otherwise would not have been exposed to OPS INC suppressors.
Yes, I sell them. I think they are "cool", I think they are as quiet if not quieter than everything else comparatively . I think they are every bit as QD as anything else out there, but they are kinda a PITA to get in stock, the profit margin is the lowest of the suppressors I sell, but they are something new and different.
Dealer or not, were I to have these available to me I would be posting the same threads. I enjoy this and I'm learning something every trip the the range.
As for K31user, as he stated in the original introduction thread, hes the guy who builds the silencers. All the marketing, advertising, suppressor design and business decisions relating to OPS INC suppressors are made by Phil Seeberger alone.
He's been making silencers probably longer than some silencer companies have been around. Over the years, you'd tend to learn a thing or two.
Its not easy getting a new product out, but all the positive reports and word of mouth seem to be doing well.
Did you see these?

This was my first go around with a 7.5" so I threw this together. I didnt expect much along the lines of reliability and comfort shooting.
Not thinking it would work well, I did it as cheap as possible and wanted to be able to get to the gas port incase I didnt guess the right size. It functioned barely enough to kick the brass out without the suppressor, so I musta got it right on the port size.
With the OPS 14th model it was not bad at all to shoot, and seemed to function fine for the initial 60 some rounds. It did get hot, and I realized I wanted something more for a heat shield, so I swapped on the PRi CAR tube.
A couple days later I was invited to go shooting with some friends and a long lost cousin who never shot a gun before. This was the first actualy full shooting with this upper, and the distance was 65yds with M855.
For someone who never shot before, she put more rounds through this than I think she did anything else we brought, and was hitting clay birds at 65yds consistantly.
Sunday was another day at the range with the uncleaned 7.5" and it was shared among 12 other shooters. There were a bunch of suppressed rifles and this one seemed to be the big surprise to everyone. I swapped the 15th model on and put the 14th back on my 11.5" and when shot next to a suppressed 16" carbine with a (very well respected) suppressor you could not tell them apart.
What also was a surprise that I dont understand; I dont have a gas buster, and there is absolutely NO blowback through the receiver into my face.
This is so light and short, its the most fun thing I have to shoot right now:)
