Hello:  Just ordered a brown syn. stock from Freds.  Looks good, but, needs to be cleaned or freshened up.  This is the first GI Stock I've owned.   The others have been Springfield.  Any help would be great.  Thanks, John

They are hard to clean when they get bunged. How hard do you want to work ? Think of it as an old Corvette without paint on the body.  After you clean with soap and water clean then clean / wax with several coats of boat hull cleaner and wax.
