Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - How do I switch from a paratrooper stock to a standard?

I have the PTR-91 KPT model with wide handguard and telescoping metal stock.  I would also like to put an original G3 buttstock on it.  How is this done?

www.robertrtg.com/g3.html  has the stock assembly or you can keep an eye open on the EE.

All you have to do is remove the 2 puch pins and slide off the A3 and slide on the fixed stock assembly.

Take down the rifle as if you were cleaning it.  

When you put it together use whatever fixed buttstock assembly you have. Black, Green ot Wood.

Cheap used ones can be had for $10.00 at  CTD

Paint on them and cut em up. Who cares for 10 bucks.
