Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - How adjustable are chest rigs?

I was thinking of getting the Eagle universal chest rig. I have got a prety wide chest...are there measurments somewhere or does this thing adjust enough for damm near anyone? Anyone have a better rig suggestion for a big guy??

Try a HSGI Wasatch from TimW at Practical Tactical (he's a member of this board).  I got my Wasatch from him today and I think that its the best gear out there. The Wasatch is actually a plate carrier but it's very simular to a chest harness. The big pluse for me is that you can put alot of pouches on it and still have room for more stuff.

everyone, their dog and their stepsister's half-brother's twice removed cousin will have different takes on what constitutes an adjustable/functional rig.

wearing a rig while looking at yourself in the mirror - will be different that loading up and moving about.

Also unrealistic requirements and ability expectations will sway your search.
