I stood next to a guy at an Appleseed who had one on a 16" barrel. Not as loud as some multi-port brakes I've heard on carbines, but definitely more bark than the A2 birdcages along the firing line.

As the blast from my A2-equipped 10.5" pistol is BRUTAL (to me), I'd say you are in for some real racket.

Yeah..mine on my 10.5" pistol is Loud...you can tell there is a boom...If you are standing next to someone shooting one at say...7 oclock, you feel wind in your face...you will know your shooting it...REPORT BACK W/ YOUR AAR!!!
