Has anyone used Hornady 5.56 75gr TAP in their Steyr AUG? How does it stabilize at 100yds and beyond? Looking at using it in my AUG for home defense and SHTF.

I shot some 75gr Prvi in my 1/9 18" barrel AUG a few weeks ago and it grouped just as well as the regular 55/62gr loads. (Side by side testing at 100m.)

I shoot hornady's 75 gr bullet in my AUG, via reloads, and have no issues. Tested out to 200 yards so far, on a cold day.

That's great! You have a 16" barrel? How were your groupings? Any different than any other ammunition?

I had a 16" AUG and 75g TAP was 2 to 3moa. Best i could get out my AUG was 2 MOA with 55g Zmax (which is pretty damned good in my book for a compact battle rifle as dependable and versatile as the AUG)
