Any one else have one of these?

I have been trying to find a manual on it to dissemble it. Had a PDF on it awhile back, but the computer it was on crashed and took that with it. I never got the chance to take it apart.

Also, anyone know the value of one thats in decent shape?

Well, I found a manual. This one is even better than the first one I had.....High Standard model 10 manual

My second 3rd question now is...anyone know where to get an extended magazine like the one on this one?

Both pics not mine.

Action and extension tube look like remington. if thats the case, shouldn't be hard to find a tube.

Ok, thanks. I'll look at some remington mag tubes. It's one of the drawbacks to this shotgun- a very small magazine.

There was one company that made an extension for the High Standard Model 10 series, but they're long out of business.
I don't think any other extension will work.

I know a Remington extension won't fit.

Cool!

Thanks guys very helpful info.

I want to at least try and make this shotgun more practical if possible.

Still having some issues w/ disassembly, but will work on it more this weekend.

do some searching over at shotgunworld I seem to remember someone doing a complete guide on takedown for this gun.  They also talk about why it is a real pain to make a mag extension work correctly with this gun.

I found a thread on the disassembly of one by a member on SW, it's helpful w/ pics and all, but leaves out some of the details on removing the mag tube. But I will tinker some more with it, see if I can't get it completely torn down.

please don't chop one of these up. there are not that many of them left.

Nope, wouldn't think of it. If it requires permanently altering the weapon, I won't do it.

Looking for a simple drop in, change back to original configuration type deal. If not possible, then live with it the way it is. I'll have to get really good at "Speed loading".

there is no easy drop in for it. many have tried since the 70's

                                         I just found this. LOL!

I guess I'll just practice fast speed/reloads with it.
