I have narrowed my next purchase down to 3 weapons/systems. I am curious on what everyone thinks it should be?

1. XCR - I have been waiting for this for many months and I hate to give up now. I really want it since this is the closest thing I see coming before the FN SCAR.

2. POF 415 upper - I have been reading other threads on this and I am sold on this upper, very promising.

3. FN PS90 - The price of the ammo is not a concern since I believe it will come down. I also feel compelled to this so FN will bring the SCAR L&H to us plus it is different.

XCR or P90, the gas piston upper for an AR is a band aid fix for a problem that doesnt exist, get a firearm built around its a gas piston if you must have one, or the funkadelic uber carbine with massive mag capacity and almost non existant recoil for a fun blaster

If you already have an AR, get the P90 and SBR it.

PS90... because God only knows how long it will last. Anti's will be all over that shit, eventually.

AR's will always be around.... and in good supply. Buy the exotic first !!!

XCR seems cool, but they cannot deliver.

Go with the FN

I love posts like this. Get the 90 if you can afford the ammo. Get the XCR if you ever get to actually see one in person. Get the POF last, gas piston uppers are gay.
Or...

i have wanted an XCR also but who knows when it will be delivered......POF is a good system but I think I would go with the LW first.

Get the P90, there isn't anything else like it out there and we need to support companies that bring modern firearms to the market for us mere mortals.

Thanks for the replies. Like I said, I feel I need the PS90 to help FN realize they have a market here and so they bring the Scar in heavy and light. The more I look, the more I like the PS90 but who knows how long until I can get one. Rob Arms has on their website that they hope to start to ship XCRs at the end of January. If I could afford it, I would get all 3. Hoping my bonus in the next couple of months will let me get 2 of them. Now thinking of a SPR upper. Too many options and not enough money.

I've looked at all those, and if you're willing to wait for XCR, why don't you hold out for FS2000.... That's what I decided....

I do like the FS2000 but it looks bulky and I would have to handle it before I would decide where as the others I know I would like. I am considering it but it is farther down the road. I also "preordered" the Sig 55X if it ever comes out. I need to find a cheaper hobby.

XCR !! It's got to be here soon, how long has Robinson been putting those off? 18 months?

The FN would be nice, but I would wait for the ammo to become more common.

How can you ask??? That PS90 sure looks neat! I've been dying to get my hands on one just to see how they work! It's gotta be a SBR for sure! Ya just know too that when you finally got that PS90, the FS2000 is going to have to sit beside it! All we'll need next is for the SC to dump all anti 2nd ammendment laws so we can get em turned on! Oh I'm wetly dreaming now!

SBRs really look awesome but no SBRs in Bama, I have fake cans on my SW5 and UMP conversion. If I could SBR, it would be the PS90 and FS2000 for sure.

Thanks for all the input fellas. I read that RSR is getting black PS90s so I asked my local to see if he can get one. I like the green just not sure if I like it enough over the others. Now, if I could get a real black one, that is a different story. The more I think about it, I also want a FS2000. Too many toys and not enough money. I might have to sell some guns I have or my Ak kits or maybe a kidney. Thanks again for all the suggestions.

The Sig is a given, I will get one if they come out. Both Scars are givens if they come out. I have wanted a XCR for along time and I hate to give up now. It is looking like I want them all and I may need to sell a few that will not get shot if I get new ones.

LOL! I've got the same problems! I put my name on the XCR list 14 months ago, and have'nt heard a damn thing out of them. The PS 90 and it's cartridge just don't do anything for me, I might change my mind if the guns and the ammo were more available. On that same note, I do feel obligated to spend some money with FN, simply because they are taking a risk entering the civilian market place. So I'm holding out for the FS 2000.
I don't think I could ever have enough gun money, I'd acquire one of everything then what? Oh my.............................can you imagine the pile of magazines I'd have?

It'd look alot like SARCO's warehouse! And sadly, in the end, I'd still end up broke.

I have a PS90 and it is a blast to shoot. Kind of like a grown-up kid's gun. You can't shoot it without a big smile on your face!
