Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Help needed on measurement from 10/22 barrel

I need a measurement taken off a stock 10/22 barrel for a project.  I need the distance from the bottom of the front sight dovetail to the top of the barrel.  If anyone could help me out that would be great.  The distance I am talking about is the area between the 2 red lines in the attached scan.

About .002 on mine, if I'm measuring right.
It may actually be negative. Complex part.
