Greetings all -

I've got an M1A Socom II and I'm having a tough time selecting a sling. I've got a GGG rail mounted sling swivel for my front mounting point. I'm after a tactical sling that wraps around the buttstock and uses a sling swivel at the forend. Ultimately, I guess I do know what I want, but when you're shopping online you can't always tell which sling is going to work with what. had.
Thanks much,
- Robert

Specter Gear is what I have on my Scout.

Good stuff.

Allerian, welcome to the site!

My advice - after trying the Wilderness tac sling - is to ensure you really need a tac sling. I personally use slings to shoot with and in my experience with the Wilderness style, tac slings are great for carrying a rifle but just don't give you the ability to really use them to improve your steadiness when shooting... And to me, shooting accurately is the whole point of having a rifle.

If you run your sling needs through that kind of filter and still decide you want a tac sling, go for it. I thought I'd use a tac sling but was sorely disappointed when I actually tried using it.

As always, YMMV.
