Went to the funshow today & picked up some ammo, but when I got home and started to put it away, I found an extra case of .308 I didn't know I had.  Has four sealed tins of 300rds each in a wooden crate.  Each tin is marked:

300 ROUNDS 7.62A BALL  L2A2 RG 0634  60

Now the RG may actually be RC - I'm not completely sure and the markings on the tins are smeared.  I think its a "G" though and not a "C".

My original guess was Brittish, but here's the kicker - the crate which holds the four tins is marked "MADE IN CHINA".

Anyone know what kind of ammo this is?

Radway Green maybe?  I don't know about the crate.

Radway Green made in China.

The guns they build suck, that is why they had the Germans rebuild them, so maybe their ammo sucks to and they decided to go with Chinese manufactured.
