Looks pretty shady to me... I know BATFE probably doesn't allow this, nor does it look safe for your AR.

Looks like they are in Sweeden so it is only going to be a BATFE matter if you tried to have one sent to the US.

Your link isn't working, but I assume you are talking about the lightning link.  There are registered pre 86 ones out there.

No that would not be legal for USA.

I figured so, but couldn't it cause your rifle to fire out of battery?

The "lightning link", properly known as the "AR-15 Auto Connector" is not a slam-fire conversion as many people seem to incorrectly believe.  It connects the disconnector to the mechanism which cycles in the firearm, which is the same full auto method used by the M1 carbine and M14 rifles.  Also roughly the same method used for the full auto Glocks like the 18/18C.

And seeing a lightning link for $70 could make a grown man cry.  It does look odd without the SWD proprietary vibrating pen serial number.  ;-)

The company is in Sweden so the BATFE has nothing to say about it. However if a person was dumb enough to try and buy one and have it sent to the USA, that person would be in some serious legal trouble.

ETA: Didn't catch the first reply that already covered this

I'm sure it is a pre 86 registered machine gun.  A legal NFA item.  It isn't the technology that makes them expensive it is the scarcity.
