I got it. Nice toys! :)

But...

I used to buy a lot from their catalog because everything is in one place and their service has been really good, but I now use it as more of a reference, as many of the accessories they offer can be had elsewhere at a discount.

Drooling is about the extent of it, till the uncontrollable laughter sets in, looking at those ridiculous Bushy prices !!!

The most current one I have is the one with the new post-ban M4 with that hideous Mini Y Comp brake on it on the cover (Take that English teachers). That the one you're talking about?

BTW saw 3000 miles to Graceland last night and several folks were using 10" barrels on their ARs and every time I see short barrel on a full-auto AR/M4/M16, I think....WHY?

all i can say is why not? the 11.5" upper with a beta c is bad ass looking! i think the point in the movie was to have concealable fire power.
besides, damn, that casino shootout was pretty damn cool!

in other words if you shoot me with an ar/10inch barell then you have done just that!  could have done the same thing with a 10/22  same kind of hole in and out .22...right?

bobbyjack,

no....., not perzactly !! there is ruffly 2,000 fps differential, take two one gal milk jugs, fill them wyth water plumb to the top, set them out at abt. 25 yds., shoot one wyth a .22 LR solid tip..., shoot the other wyth a 5.56/.223 Rem. from an AR..., you'll notice a difference !! watermelons are far more impressive, if you want give your audience a watermelon shower..., try a hollow point 5.56/.223Rem., you will get popular real fast......

Anyone notice the Leupold Mark 4 CQ/T is mounted backwards?  Makes one wonder about QC.

I got one too. I've bought some little things from them- but their prices are getting to be as bad as Colts. I spent the same amount of money for the parts of my whole AR that they want for just a upper for a M4.

And I like that patrolmans carbine on the cover, except for the barrel length.  I've seen all the wound ballistics stuff, but have you ever tried to conceal a 20" AR? Not happening.

I am gonna wait until 04, then buy me a 14.5" M4 flattop with folding irons, rail forend, and a Reflex. In this state, if you have a CCW permit, you could carry it and be legal. Make a great truck gun too. And anymore the 200 dollars for the tax stamp is a fair price for a optional upgrade. Just wont use 62gr ammo in it.

I thought about 11.5" but that was just too extreme- though if you only used 40gr ammo it shouldnt be too bad.

I dont regret buying my my 20", but I have come to the conclusion that the shorter gun has its uses- after watching the news all winter and seeing that it really isnt all that big a deal to carry around with the proper sling. Just hangs at your side like a purse or a book bag (and its a lot lighter than my book bags used to be)

Got one sitting right here beside me, and cannot wait to start spending money wisely again. No new toys in the last year, (God bless responsibilities) so I figure I am due one or two this year.

I got mine a couple of days ago. And I thought "Garanditis"(an uncontrollable addiction to the M1 Garand) was bad. I've got a serious case of the "wants" for an AR now...
