Today I was asked if I know about an HTMI handheld thermal imager. I looks like the size of a PVS 14 and I see some basic specs, but that is about all I can find on it. Nothing came up searching HTMI on arfcon or google except for three sites that all link together to www.ir-city.com. Digging around that site I found their "about us" page is a default template page so I told him to steer clear of that. But I have no other info for him on the particular imager (what is the real manufacturer, etc.) and was wondering if anyone here does.

Info I have seen on that thermal mono is it has a: 320x240 VOx microbolometer/ 2X digital zoom/runs on 2 123A batteries/ 500 meter detection range 6ft man/add on elcan weapon mount and long range lens. I also have looked at it not sure of anyone who stocks the unit or if it is even for sale to non military/law. It looks like the insight MTM to me

This must be a mistake. The price is way too good for an MTM (which they offer for $15,200.00, BTW)

You better check twice before you buy, the pictures obviously don't correspond to what you're getting.

Clicked on the About section... All stock instant-e-store content. They haven't added any information about themselves...

I am wondering if they have anything? I would not be confident of getting anything I ordered.

Also missing are the usual ITAR warnings and they are happy to ship anywhere in the world.

Very suspicious.

on their nv section they have a pvs7 pic for a pvs14 item so perhaps the thermal has the wrong pic as well
