Let's face it factory HK's are expensive and out of the reach of some (including me after my job change). I would like to hear from people that own clones about their fit, finish and reliability.

Use to own a ORF 93 and it was nice shooting but looked like crap, it was a 91 receiver cut down.  Todd is a great guy to deal with and wouldn't mind purchasing another clone for him.  He now uses Victor receivers also.

Have a IGF 33 and 94 but on a victor and SW receivers and both have great finishes and run like a champ.  Jayson does excellent work.  Turn around time is 4 month.  He is a one man show.   They both look like the real deal down to the welds, etc.  Might get a POF/JLD  91 this winter/spring.

Finally have a SAR-8 greek stamped 91 contact rifle.  Its just like a HK91.

If I had to do it over again I'd still stict to ORF or IGF in the clone department.

I didn't vote....I think 51 and 53....mine are made by ORF and the fit and finish is tops. They are both very reliable aslo. Todd G. is a great guy too.

The PTR-91 IS a Hk91 clone not a Cetme.HK bolts, carriers and locking pieces in the two rifles do not interchange.

JLD doesn't make CETMEs.  It's a PTR91 (HK91 clone) with wood furniture, it's not that difficult a concept to grasp.

just look at the rear sight, youll see its not a cetme.

I know the G3 is based on the CETME.  So, I know what your 'joke' is about.  That doesn't make it, you know, a good joke.

So the PTR-91,  now that the ban has expired,  would one be able to switch out some of the parts on thee with HK parts?  flash-suppressors,  collapsible stocks, etc...?

I would like to turn one of these into a PSG-1 lookalike
