Just look on the magazine well, it should say it was made by Heckler and Koch and made in Germany.

Besides the obvious of the markings on the outside, is there anyway that internals can be swapped between HKs and Clones?
Any markings on factory HKs that are not on clones? |

Yes, parts can be swapped, but true Oberndorf parts are easily ID'd over clone parts. Go to HKParts.net and look at some of the HK91 parts there. |

In general, HK G3 parts all work in the HK91. Even the full auto carrier. To get an idea of what you can really guy quality used parts for, go check out robertrtg.com http://www.robertrtg.com/g3.html Most of the things on his page are HK factory. While some are high quality contract parts from alternate manufacturers. It's usually specified. |
