Get yourself an oxy-acetylene torch, some pliers, a hammer, and a bucket of water.
The rest should be self explanatory.

If it is like my 5906, make SURE the GUN is EMPTY, mag out. Pull the slide back and push the slide stop from the right side. You might need a ball point pin to help push, The slide must be back far enough to release the stop, there is a cut in the slide (left side) to help it's removal

It is a PDF. You will need to scroll down to P24. The slide stops on wide body S&Ws sometimes need the use of a plastic punch or such (I have used any number of things...a ballpoint pen, etc. but just to push with...you should not need to pound it out) to get them started on the way out of the frame. Thanks. The problem was that the slide lock lever lines up & pulls out from the "wrong" (front) end.
