While I don't own one, I have shot them. They are good shooters but for the weight, they still kick about the same or more then a 12ga.

Some people don't like them because they have the "shellholder" style action and not a true "bolt gun" style. While there's nothing wrong with a shellholder, some people don't like having the round go off right next to their head.
