Anybody tested both side by side?

All I know is you don't want to be standing side by side with someone using a Harvester because the brake on there will really ring your ears.

Yep.  I heard it in person when a buddy shot his.  It sounded fine to the shooter, but I didn't like being at the bench next to him without muffs.  I haven't shot the Griffin can so I can't speak to that, but I do like how they tighten down on a brake.  If I remember right they both weigh about the same and cost about the same so it's a tough choice if that's what you want.

I was in the same predicament and chose the Harvester.  I like the modular thread adapters you can buy and the MB.  Also the harvester is thinner too.  For the price it looked like you get more out of the Harvester.

What caliber was he shooting?  Just curious.  I'd like to add one of these to my collection at some point and the Griffin option has me intrigued a bit more.

You sure its from the brake? The sonic crack from any supersonic .308 is pretty loud.

Why did you figure it would make your ears ring?

Not necessarily that it would ring the ears, but that it might redirect noise that im used to being pushed forward.

Hmm,  this hasn't been my experience with the Harvester and my 308 CTR.  Buddy shot it, I guess I was too busy giggling at the reduction in sound to notice.   Interesting.  I'll be looking out for this.
