I posted some preban Glock 17 mags for sale, then followed up with a thread about how Glock will replace the bodies. I don't actually know the procedure for this, can anyone post their knowledge? Thanks.

Apparently, Glock is no longer replacing bodies. But LaPrade is....

I dunno about Glock, but there is a company advertising in the Shotgun news. Laprade. They say they sell replacement Glock mag bodies, for $40 bucks a piece. Info:

Rt. 10 Box 240A-1, SN
Tazewell, TN 37879
(all they have is a fax # listed)

(Scott beat me to it, dammit! I'm getting slow)

This is the word from Smyrna as of yesterday:
They will replace Hi-cap mag bodies for a charge of $25.00 each. You will get back exactly what you send them (NDF/DF etc.)
I'm sending out a MO for $75.00 tommorow morning along with 3 NDF that have "cracked up" on me.
I'm not sure where DScottHewitt is getting his info but as of yesterday, it is incorrect.
Hope this helps.

These are made by Scherer, and I was considering getting some to repair some prebans mags I have. They are available from several retailers, including these:

I don't have experience with any of the stores above; I'm just passing on what I found.

The reason I haven't done it is that I've heard negative things about the quality control on these mag bodies:
