I just bought (and quickly returned) an "HK-style tactical sling."

The idea is that via a system of straps and buckles you can go from a low carry position to an aiming position, drop the gun to your weak side and sweep it behind your back all while keeping the gun strapped to you.

After a while I just put the old sling back on.
