I'd like to buy a flat-top carbine upper, and looks to me as though Fulton-Armory might have some nice pieces @ nice prices. I've looked at everything from Bushmaster to Wilson! But before I buy anything from anywhere, I will attempt to tap the vast resource of knowledge that is AR15.com members! Thanks.

They have a great reputation. Clint McKee and Dr. Walt Kuleck are on rec.guns quite a bit if you want to read their pitches/opinions/knowlege.

In my humble opinion, Mr McGee sells used goods as new goods. In other words, he commits fraud. Buy from them with EXTREME caution.

recently bought almost my whole rifle minus the lower from clint... my order got screwed up a few ways which i wont go into, but clint was always courteous and helped to resolved the problems. just talk to clint directly and you should have no problems. also, the two uppers i ordered from them, one returned for other reasons, required some fitting to fit to my rra lower. the rear post that accepts the take down pin was too thick. the customer service was excellent though

I've only bought parts from Fulton-Armory, but so far I have had nothing but good experiences with them.

I would stick with a plane old Bushmaster upper though... Fulton-Armory prices are a bit too steep IMHO for a plane jane upper. Unless of course your going for one of the pricy, deadly accurate uppers.
