A noob here. The components and tools seem a bit overwhelming to me. I would like to reload 223/5.56, 9mm, and 308/7.62x51 in high volume. As automated as possible, at least 300rds/hr of range fodder. Is there a complete kit I can buy some place? I would need everything: from cleaning used brass to seating the bullet.

What is your budget for the gear?

Best case scenario with a single stage press will be 100 rounds a hour or so.

There is a lot of case prep time involved with loading rifle rounds, not something you can readily do.

With prepped cases, you can load on 550 at a reasonable pace (meaning priming, dispensing powder, and bullet seating) 350-400 rounds per hour.
But, there is time dedicated to cleaning cases, sizing cases, case prep actions ie trimming chamfering deburring uniforming etc sucks your time!  This assumes you are using a Dillon friendly powder. IE a ball powder.

My money would be geared towards Giraud Trimmer, may be a chargemaster combo, and powering other facets of case prep.

I'm hoping $1K would cover it.

A Dillon XL 650 with case feeder and Dillon trimmer is probably the best fit for what you want to do.  I would expect it to come in over your budget once you buy all the ancillary stuff that goes with reloading (dies, tumbler, calipers, scale, etc.).

I got a family member setup similarly and I think he ended up spending close to $2k but part of that might have been his initial component buy.

I think a Dillon 550B would come in a lot closer to the $1k budget.

I get about 450 rounds per hour in pistol calibers and about 300 rounds per hour for bottle neck rifle cartridges without a case feeder - all accurate, high quality ammo.

For a newbie, I like the control you have over the 550 because it is manual indexing.
