Has anyone gone to Front Sight in Las Vegas? How hard was it to get in a class? Do you have to sign up in advance? I'm gonna be there on "vacation" this October, and I'd really like to check it out, more than once hopefully, thanks.

I have taken the Front Sight SMG class, and it was awesome. Be aware that:
1) You have to send them a signed application form ahead of time with signed references.
2) I don't know how early their classes fill up. Their web site lists only classes until June. The best way to find out is to call them and ask them, then send in the app form ASAP.

You can get all the info off the web:

I went to the class as well and would reccomend it HIGHLY. You will have a great time. They will not be doing these free classes forever, so take advantage of them while you can. It is simple to get in the class so long as you send in your completed registration form. The classes do not fill up from what I was told. They just keep accepting people. There were about 75 people (split up into two groups) at the class I was at. And yes, it is 100% free. Free food, free drinks, free ammo, use their guns for free. You just have to sit through a lecture about Front Sight, but that is pretty amazing too. You wont believe the plans they have for the place. Look at the menu on the very top of the page, go to the Industry Forum there and once there, at the bottom Front sight has a forum someone checks frequently. You can go there too, but I would call, hey, it is a free 800 number and you can talk to someone right away. Good luck!
