It's time for new plate carriers and our boss wants to go with First Spear

I haven't ever seen or tried any of this companies equipment. It seems like good stuff but I was wondering if anyone has first hand experience with any of their gear?

they are spinning up on capacity, in the meantime what requirements are you working against?

We can get just about whatever we want. I was leaning more toward Paraclete but I was open to First Spear if the quality is good.

Hoping someone had some first hand experience with their stuff.

First Spear hasn't really been producing for the general public under their own brand for long enough to have wide-spread experiences.

They have been providing OEM services for a bit longer, so many people own FS-built gear and don't know it.  Industry professionals like Eggrolly have had good looks at the gear and say it's GTG, as anticipated.

The CEO of FS is Scott Carver, who was really the driving force behind Eagle, as well as the designer of many of their most popular products.  He's the kind of guy who you can go "all-in" with before you see the kit, provided it fits your mission.  Build quality won't be a question, but you'll be hard pressed to find anyone with first hand experience with the gear, especially for any time frame worth judging.

First time I ever heard of them.  Looks good though.
