I remember about a year or two ago someone had posted a tutorial on how to reapply the paint on a rifle's fire selector (if the makes sense).

My problem is some of the red paint has come off, and i was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to touch up the paint or reapply it.

Paint looks good to me, on that rifle.

Use testers model paint.

Using a small brush, get the paint into the letters/indents (don't worry about getting paint on the surounding flats) and let the paint sit for a few minutes to start drying. Once it begins to dry, you can use a Q-tip/cloth wet with gun oil to get paint off everything that is outside of the groves/indents.

Take a dab of paint on the end of a tooth pick, and draw it into the lines on the lower. I've done that, with great success, on some very detailed models I used to build. If you can 'frey' the end of the tooth pick slightly, all the better. It sorta acts like a brush that way.
