Been wanting one for years, I was a member of the ORF RF5 group buy back in 2004, had a POF parts kit, eventually sold the kit for $530 but alas it wasn't to be. I cant recall if I stuck around the group buy long enough to get a voucher certificate or not. I was working on kiddo #3 when ATI brought in the MKEs in 2014, but dammit I wasn't going to miss out on a true HK version.

I also broke down to get a MKE z5p, I may grab a MKE RS prior to Election Day as well.

that is sweet, I bought a VECTOR 89 clone years ago, that eats and shoots every brand of ammo I fed it without one hiccup from the 70s era HK straight mags, which made me happy because they were like 18 bucks a pop at the time vs. 60 bucks for the curved mags

I decided right there after shooting it, "oh yeah,  this baby deserves  to be SBR'd"

my advice, , get a pair of "balls" (BETA CO, 100 round drum)  for it while you still can

I see it comes in a nice fitted case, and I see the screw driver  to adjust windage. did it also come with the tool to adjust elevation???

Yeah, the windage tool is on the other end of the screw driver.  I can't believe beta-mags are still ~$3-400

is that a subtle HK tribute with the rounds backwards in the mag... or is that just how they come from HK?

I'm pretty sure all HKs load that way.

Congrats on the new acquisition.

HK fan tradition since that ad went so viral. HK is the only gun good enough to shoot with the rounds loaded backwards.
