The Ferret50 conversion has evolved into a rifle, by way of our match lowers that are now in stock.

The lower receiver is a single piece, machined from 4140 steel. The buttstock is welded to the frame allowing us to build it to your specs (if you choose). The standard buttstock has a pull length of 14.75" (standard A2 buttstock is 13.5"), a lower rail for a sandbag and a Pachmayr recoil pad. If that isn’t sweet enough, the match trigger/hammer is adjustable and breaks at approx 1 lb. The weight of the complete lower is 7lb.

Below is a pic of a rifle I built for one of the guys in our shop. It’s a standard receiver Ferret50 with a 30MOA scope rail, long handguard with standard bipod, 36" Lothar Walther chrome-moly barrel with a Hybrid Match chamber and 1:9.5 twist. The brake is an Original Fish Gill brake by State Arms. Complete rifle weight is 35lbs.

The rifle is very comfortable and the recoil is soft. This is in spite of the 894gr projos we were launching at 2700fps. This rifle is grouping .3MOA at 550-600yd.

As always, everything can be had together or separately, to our specs or yours.
