I called first and asked if I could fax it in; the guy that answered the phone at the NFA branch told me it had to come in by mail, so I sent put the form in the mail (regular mail) last Tuesday (8/7) and got it back today (8/13); it had been approved 8/9.

Turn around on them is fairly quick. I usually have mine back in 10 days.

I think it depends on the examiner. Mine still take 3+ weeks.

I faxed mine in "july" to take my sbr to my brothers in flordia, came back in the mail 3 days later. After this, I moved and mailed 2 in for this purpose and recived them back within 9 days.

My last one was about 6-7 days, week before July 4.

i get mine done via fax. guess some examiners do things differently.

last one i sent in turnaround time was oh 20 minutes or so

same here but mine took about 40 minutes
