Does anybody have any comments that they'd care to contribute on the Heckler & Koch 91 conversion known as the H&K 51?

I know that F.J. Vollmer DOES NOT do the conversion anymore, however they will put you in touch with the gunsmith who still does and they recommend his work.

The "51" is a 7.62 brother of the hk53, but I don't think the "51" is an actual HK designation, rather the G3K and G3KA4 in collapsible stock.  Has a 12" barrel.  I haven't seen or shot one, but a 12" with 7.62 should make big fireballs.

There are a few reputable HK artisans who can do that conversion for you.  I think Jayson @ IGF does them.
