I purchased my FAL while living in MA prior to relocating back to VA and it still is in Post-Ban config with a target crowned 16' barrel. Now that I am able, I'd like to get the bbl threaded and add a flash supplessor or one of the combo devices and could use some suggestions.

The rifle was built out of an Imbel receiver, SA parts kit, and now sports Israeli Light barrel furniture. My thoughts right now for choices are:

1)Shorty Stoll
2)Belgian combo device
3)YHM Fal Phantom

Can anyone who has used these offer pros/cons

Thx,

Blitz

Of the three, I really perfer the Belgian. Closely followed by the YHM. Not really a fan of the Stoll. You also might want to look at the YHM silencer mount. Basically a Phantom with a quick connect for a silencer.

Second item on this page.................... YHM silencer attachments

You might never get the silencer, but you would have a muzzle device and you could get the silencer later if you choose.

I have long Belgian's, combo's and a Stoll on 'clone' builds.
But for my custom FALs, I like to use the YHM Phantom's or the Saylor's Phoenix flash hiders.

I had a Vortex installed by GAP when I had the barrel cut down. Due to the barrel diameter we used a 5.56 and bored it out to 7.62. Works great.
