Hello FALaholics, a new DS Arms FAL recently found its way into my family and I'm wondering if it's possible to mount an Aimpoint M2 on the DSA optic rail and still cowitness with the irons? If so, is there a special mount required?

I use an Aimpoint M2 on my FAL and don't co-witness the irons.

Just use a quick release ring for the Aimpoint.

If the Aimpoint fails you can quickly remove it and keep shooting.

However, I really doubt the Aimpoint will fail unless you drop the rifle
upside down on a hard surface or something.

I really like the FAL w/Aimpoint set up. Fast up close and still good to go
at 200+ yds.
