I am looking for a 20 gauge semiauto youth shotgun for my wife. Looking at Academy, I find a Remington 11-87. Nice, shorter length of pull, full 28 inch barrel, $599.

Then I see an Escort, synthetic stock, short l.o.p. and short 22 inch barrel. Finish quality seems ok, working the bolt and release are smooth, conventionally located safety, and apparently a magazine cutoff button.  $299

Of course with Academies trigger locks, I cannot check the trigger pull.

Checking the internet, best I can find is it is a Turkish made gun, imported by the company that also imports Howa rifles. I cannot find any reviews of it though.

Anyone familiar with these or have any links to more info?

Thanks
Dave

Typical no-name Turkish shotgun.  No parts support is the biggest problem with these guns.  The Stoeger 2000 is the best of the Turkish autoloaders, and has some parts support.
