I'm considering getting one. I like the price and the features. Does anyone have any experience with it? Just wanted to see if I could get some feedback. Thanks

Well, I've had a regular AIII for a while now, and it kicks some major ass, so I would think that the MOLLE AIII would be even better since it has the PALS webbing. If you get one, go to www.triadtactical.com. They have the best prices around.

My OD Molle A-III should be here by Friday (SKD), I'll let you know.

My current pack has several ESSTAC pouches attached to standard ALICE webbing. ESSTAC makes their top two rows together, so you can easily attach them to 2" webbing. Good stuff.

Yeah, I just bought one in MultiCam. I'm looking forward to it. Seems to be a really good pack. I've got several Emdom and ESSTAC pouches I plan on putting on it. Keep us updated on yours when it gets in and post pics

howie, my a3 is perfect for my needs , i'm no operator . perfect for my trips out to the desert for the weekend . when i'm out alone wondering around the desert.. and no i'm not howard hughes
mre's, bivy sack, first aid kit, hydration pack, etc ..... fits all nicely for a weekend or to lug around whatever da lil general wants to buy at the swap meet, pretty much fits. not too big and not too small.
as far as the molle being an after thought .. who cares . it has enough mollle to add and remove stuff i need to carry. just my .02 cents. definetly a good purchase for solid gear. dont think you'll be disappointed at all.

Mine came in today. I took pics of it, but left the camera at my g/f's house in her bloody purse. I'll post some pics of it tomorrow

Well, here ya go! Arrived yesterday. I love this pack so far. Intend on using it for light travelling, vacations, back packing trips, keeping some of my gear in storage.......

Pouches you see here are the Emdom strobe pouch and EGL Haffafug. I also attached a locking
D-ring in case I need to hang something off my rig

On the other side is an ESSTAC Packrat and ESSTAC medium utilty/GP pouch. And on the front is the Emdom WL 3".

Howie,
I've been looking for something like the EMDOM pouch for some time. How do you like it? The lack of internal dividers and mesh on the A-III is a slight nuisance.

Currently, on my new A-III (OD), I'm running;
2 x ESSTAC Medium GP at the low left and right.
1 x ESSTAC Small/Medic GP at the upper left.
On the back bottom, I'm currently rigging a standard butt pack, but that EMDOM pouch might make it a little nicer.

As soon as the wife gets back with my camera, I'll post pics.

I really like the pack so far. Eagle could have put more PALS on it, but it suits my needs just fine. I don't really need tons of PALS---I don't need that many pouches anyways.

I highly recommend the Emdom pouches. They're all top quality

My A-III came with the belt (but it needs 2 rows of pals webbing, IMHO).
I think the internal frame is about$20, but I'm still deciding wether I want it or not.

Me

I was simply pointing out that those wanting something more "MOLLE" would likely be disappointed with this version of the AIII. If all you need is a few pouches for misc. gear it's just right. Didn't mean to threaten the validity of anyones purchase . I like mine.

oh stop it brass, no worries .

no to get off topic , but brass u in socal? if so show up to our monthly burro shoot.

Finally got a chance to use the pack today. Took it out to the beach and loaded it up with my hydration bladder, tons of snack, extra canteen for water, towels, etc. The pack is VERY comfortable and I never run out of room to put things in it

Here's mine in OD with ESSTAC pouches.
ESSTAC uses a darker shade of green, while the A-III Is somewhat bright.
