I usually write in AK site, but this time I have good reason to put topic here.
What does this stamp on M16 means ?
Who has used this weapon ?
Any ideas ?
is this a rifle owned by you ? or a friend ? or did you see it at a gun show or museum ? where is the rifle now ?
i belive it is a rifle sold to a foreign gvmnt., & judging from the cartouche it is related to the Naval forces of the country it came from.....
Looks Argentine to me.. (Unusual since the last I heard they were still using FAL's.)
This judgement is based on seeing a similar (though not identical) crest on a Ballester-Molina..(Yes, thin)
