Dissipator Upper mounting an M203?

I just want to get someone else's opinion on this question that I and a fellow TD have been kicking around at the studio. Can you mount a M203 grenade / flare launcher onto a Dissipator upper? If so can you use the M203 handguards?

I think we already know the answer to this but just want the AR15.com feedback.

yes & yes. the only slight problem i had was
with the old style triangular handguards. the
heat shield needs to be bent in a little to fit
around the gas block.

The standard Dissipator has an HBAR profile barrel, so you'd need HBAR mounts, which exist but aren't standard.

The "M4 Dissipator" uses an M4 profile barrel and will mount them with the standard mounts. It will also be lighter, of course.

Thanks for the input on the Dissipator mounting. We started tinkering in the shop at the studio and found that we didn't have a dissipator upper to test this out on. Oh well, it's not like we need it for a shoot or anything so it'll have to wait I guess...
