I have seen many references to the fact that running a UBL on a 6280/6004 carries the best of both worlds. It allows for an easier draw be dropping it a little lower on the hip, to avoid other gear, keeping it closer to the hand, while mimicking (sp?) your everday carry holster.

Can anyone attest to this?

id be worried about it kicking too far out to the side. plus with it up higher, you have better retention by pressing in with your elbow.

I have one,and I prefer the way it rides, pretty much like a LOW duty holster. It does stand off from the hip a little, but not really any more than it sticks out from the leg shroud.

I have my 6004 hiked up so that it only uses 1 leg strap, but haven't tried the UBL yet. I'm concerned it may stick down too far when I sit.
