I have had one of those mags for a few years now. No problems wit it. Only slight complaint is that it does fit when I attach the MuzzleLight Bullpup stock to my 10/22.

Guess I`ll just have to deal with using my RamLine Folding Stock. Damn!

Nope.  But the one I bought years ago didn't either, and it still works fine, despite the fact that I almost trashed it with Gun Scrubber.

That's good to hear.
I got a couple from Natches, a 30 round double stack, and 25 round single, both from butler creek.
I'm holding out for steel lips, tho. I just wanted to jump on the bandwagon and get a couple at least.

I've seen the steel lips a few places, don't remember where, but they were still running around 50 bucks.

Apparently, BC has no intentions of starting production on the steel lips...

What ever happened to rugermags.com?

(That Canadian that was shipping mags back to us)

One quick tip, the banana mags lock in a lot better when you install an extended mag release. The extended releases from butler creek are probably the best $3 I have spent on my 10/22s. I have had some mags even fall out with the stock release.

Please don't say that, I've been holding back waiting for the steel lips to hit the market.

Straight from the horse's mouth....

Thank you for your email.  We will be manufacturing Steel Lips within the next couple of weeks and will hopefully be shipping towards the end of November.  At this time pricing is not available.  Please check back with us in the next 1 to 2 weeks or check on our website www.michaelsoforegon.com for further information.

I am writing this email to request that you once again sell 25 round steel
lips magazines for the Ruger 10/22.  I know that you are currently selling
the "Hot Lips", but I have found that the steel lips are considerably more
durable - at least in my particular rifle.  I also know that many others
share my same view.  I am currently waiting to see if you begin selling
Steel Lips in the near future, otherwise I intend to purchase Eagle brand
magazines as opposed to settling for the "Hot Lips" variety.

Thanks,

James
