I have a new Dillon 550B and am having issues getting the powder measure to work. I had issues with inconsistent throws. I took it apart and cleaned with alcohol and anti-static dryer sheet. This seems to have fixed that issue.

I have a new problem today. I seem to be leaking powder when lowering the ram. I can see powder built up and when I seat a new primer a few flakes dribble off. Any idea what could cause this and how to fix? Picture is included below.

Thanks,
craig

I never had a leaking problem with W-296 or H-110 from a Dillon PM.

OP, does your PM have the fail safe linkage? Or do you have an old PM?

Measure stack height of spacer and powder bar.

THEN Call Dillon with that measurement.

They will replace if under spec.

I called and after explaining the issue Dillon is shipping an oversized spacer to me.

Dillon said in the mean time to put a piece of cellophane tape on top of the original spacer. Then cut a hole in the tape so it drops through.

Thanks,
Craig
