I'm not a on expert, but I'll take a stab at it. The Dissapator is a special 16 BBL version of the that uses a patented system devised by Bush using the standard lenght AR handguards and sight lenght. It is closed system except on the ends, hot air is suppose to expand and rotate and exit near the front sight; and cool air is suppose to enter near an open on the breach of the barrel. They also use the same lenght gas tube as the CAR15, as they have a cut down sight tower hidden at that point.
The "cammando" has the 16" BBL using the short CAR15 handguards. And of course the CAR collapsible buttstock on both. |
