Did anyone else get the BIG white package from the DOJ?

[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Did anyone else get the BIG white package from the DOJ?

I got my C&R a couple days ago and today I got this BIG white package in the mail with some blank forms and 2 books. 1 is about what is considered a C&R and the other one is a FAT book on states and their firearms regulations.
Is this a new SOP since I never heard of this before.

From other C&R related web sites, I read that you are supposed to receive big books/packages from ATF right after you are issued a C&R license. I read it is a standard ATF practice.

Basically, ATF sends out the same package to all firearm licensees regardless of 01, 03, or whatever.

I've received 4 identical ones around the time I got my C&R

It's SOP. Now that you have a FFL (even if it is only an 03) when the BATF mails out notices/letters to FFLs about things, you'll get them also.

Yeah I have six of the same exact packages sitting in my study. They all arrived within a four day time period. I guess at least I got my 30 bucks worth, and I haven't even ordered anything yet.
