I have a Daewoo DR-200 on the way and was wondering if anyone had experience to share on these. I am wondering if they would be more suited to a scope or red dot? Are they accurate enough to justify a scope? I am using the low-mount optic rail sold at Stormwerkz. Just looking for some optics ideas and any advise.

Should be <2 MOA. The DR-200's have a 1:12 twist.

I had heard about the twist, looks like I will be sticking with 55Gr. With that accuracy I would lean towards a 1-4x scope but a red dot might work too. Thanks

I had one for several years...it was ridiculously accurate.

And threw brass out at a 45 degree angle 15 feet away from where I was shooting at 3 oclock.

Great rifle. The only reason I got rid of it was because parts availability was worse at the time. No idea if that has changed any at all over the years.

ETA - Go with a variable scope. Primary Arms has some good ones at a good price that should be just what you need, or the CMR Hi-Lux scopes.

I have a red dot on my DR200,and a scope on my K2.The DR is perhaps the perfect short to intermediate range carbine.

No input but I'm curious to see what everyone is using and what you come up with.

Had one years ago, shouldn't have sold it. It's a nice rifle. The RH bolt handle takes some getting used to.

There was some idle talk of Lionheart importing and building up 922r compliant parts kits or building domestic K2s a year or two back.

I don't have an optic on my K2. It's part of my "service rifles of the world" collection.

If anyone knows where to obtain a couple factory filler screws, I'd like to fill the holes left by the Weaver rail which came installed on it.

This was my exact, precise, exact experience with the rifle. Thought it was great - got rid of it because there were no parts available if it broke down.

Sadly these are not available new.

But can I suggest an alternative which will be soon available?

True - it's no Daewoo.  And the stock doesn't fold like a Daewoo.  On the other hand, the Type 91 is a proven weapon system, and this upper comes generally from that factory.

I had one and it was super accurate for what it is. I regret selling mine...sold it before they stopped importing.

Wolf Ammunition Company is brining in the uppers.  They are compatible with any normal AR lower.  Hopefully around SHOT show.

I checked there and didn't see those screws. Did I overlook them? I also posted on their FB page, with no reply. Maybe I should call them.

They're owned by Apex. They usually have a source for parts. Give 'em a call.
