perhaps the crimp increases a more proficient/complete burn ?

With an ES of 35 to 45?
That is not a good test at all, crappy loads and not enough control in it.

I use a , what I call a medium crimp, on all my rounds using a Lee FCD. It gave me a lower std. dev. amd better groups, but not higher vel. That's IMHO
