I want to build a semi auto sten (just for fun) after the AWB sunsets next month. Will I still need to do a Form 1 SBR or will the barrel length restrictions go away with the AWB? hinking.gif

The NFA 16" barrel requirement remains. The AWB deals with flash hiders, collapsible stocks, bayonette lugs, and magazine capacity. These restrictions go away in September.

Full auto and barrel length fall under the NFA. Not much hope of these restrictions leaving us.

What about an AR-pistol, can I build one of those without any SBR forms?

You can buy a 16 inch barrel for it.

Say I build an AR pistol from a virgin lower, is there any problem with changing my mind and converting it to a rifle? If not , then would it be a good idea to call all of my virgin lowers pistols?? Thanks

have the lower transfered as a pistol. no stock short barrel its a pistol, if you have a stock you must have a 16 inch barrel. must have both or neither cant have a stock on a pistol with out a 16 inch barrel and you
