Sometimes, lugging around a camo assault rifle bag or even a Pelican case is just too obvious. Even for the lay person.

What are some clever ways you could transport (safely) a long-ass .50 caliber rifle in public without being so blatant?  Lets pretend you could only break down the rifle in two as well.  Even still, the .50's are honk'in...

I'll go first:  A guitar case with suitable length.

How about a .338 Lapua with a folding stock instead?  Or else leave it in the back of a van, under a blanket.

Check out the movie "The Jackal"... Bruce Willis uses a fishing pole case and whatnot to transport his 30mm cannon...
